Win-Win Trades for 24′ NFL Draft

Every team has a chance to help itself in the 2024 NFL Draft — but which teams might end up helping each other? Round 1 kicks off in Detroit on April 25, and I wanted to dream up three potential win-win deals that could boost the fortunes of everyone involved.

Patriots Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 13 Overall), 2024 Second-Round Pick (No. 44 Overall) 2024 Third-Round Pick (No. 77 Overall), 2025 First-Round Pick, 2026 Second-Round Pick

Raiders Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 3 Overall) and 2024 Third-Round Pick (No. 68 Overall)

Why the Patriots should make the trade: Drafting a Quarterback isn’t what the Patriots should be concerned with. The roster lacks depth and talent, time to stock-pile draft picks and rebuild within the trenches. Look ahead to the 25′ or 26′ Draft to make a run at Quarterback.

Why the Raiders should make the trade: Jayden Daniels. Coming off an 8-9 season, the Antonio Pierce led Raiders are a Quarterback away from being a playoff team in 2024. Daniels would be walking into a very good situation with Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers as pass-catching options.

Vikings Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 17 Overall), 2025 Second-Round Pick and 2024 Third-Round Pick (No. 96 Overall)

Jaguars Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 11 Overall), 2024 Fourth-Round Pick (No. 108 Overall) and 2024 Fourth-Round Pick (No. 129 Overall)

Why the Vikings should make the trade: Trading back and likely having your choice of Byron Murphy, Quinyon Mitchell and potentially Troy Fautanu is a great situation to be in. Minnesota also collect enough capital to move up (if needed) to take their choice of Bo Nix or Michael Penix.

Why the Jaguars should make the trade: Move up and pair Travon Walker with Jared Verse out of Florida State. Verse played in the same state, Jacksonville know very well what he’s capable of.

Giants Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 12 Overall), 2024 Third-Round Pick (No. 76 Overall) and 2025 First-Round Pick

Broncos Receive
2024 First-Round Pick (No. 6 Overall), and 2024 Third-Round Pick (No. 70 Overall)

Why the Giants should make the trade: Unless you’re 100% sold on drafting Malik Nabers or a Quarterback at 6, trading back with Denver (who need a Quarterback) will help your rebuild in what is a loaded Wide Receiver class. Trade back to 12, and have your choice of Taliese Fuaga, Troy Fautanu, Byron Murphy and many other players that fit your needs.

Why the Broncos should make the trade: Sean Payton needs a Quarterback. Don’t wait for one, go after one. The situation in Denver is already dire, either go big or go home Denver. This draft is going to determine who does or doesn’t have a job very soon.
