Jeff: Unpopular opinion, give me Los Angeles to open the season avenging their playoff loss to Detroit. Puka Nacua will be too much (again) for this newly-put secondary. Rams 31 Lions 30
Adham: No way the Lions open the season with a loss, right? I hate myself. Rams pull off the upset. Rams 34 Lions 28
Jeff: One of the easier games on the schedule for the year, Detroit absolutely dominate Tampa Bay here. Statement Win. Lions 34 Buccaneers 17
Adham: Detroit aren’t starting the season 0-2, don’t worry. Baker Mayfield will ensure of that. Detroit’s defense have a day, stifle Tampa Bay and show their true form. Lions 31 Buccaneers 13
Jeff: Nothing to see here, easy win. Lions 27 Cardinals 20
Adham: How will the Detroit Secondary deal with Kyler Murray and his new toy, Marvin Harrison Jr.? Lions 24 Cardinals 20
Jeff: Lions finally end the losing streak (lost 6-Straight) to the Seattle Seahawks. Lions 31 Seahawks 20
Adham: Jared Goff or Geno Smith? Yeah, yeah, I know, Detroit’s lost six straight to Seattle. Detroit changes that. Lions 30 Seahawks 21
Jeff: We all remember the garbage that transpired in Dallas at the end of last season. Bold prediction, Penei Sewell scores a Touchdown. Lions 27 Cowboys 23
Adham: Another trip to Dallas to face “America’s Team”. Dallas have won six straight against Detroit. Off a Bye Week, give me Detroit. Lions 30 Cowboys 28
Jeff: The FIRST Matchup between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. I have Detroit losing 2 divisional games, neither come to the hands of Minnesota Vikings. Lions 34 Vikings 20
Adham: I can envision it now, the chants for “J.J. McCarthy”, how exciting. Detroit clobbers Minnesota home and away. Lions 30 Vikings 16
Jeff: Not much to say here. Tennessee will be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. Lions 31 Titans 23
Adham: I love that people like Booner think Will Levis is good. Levis had a 58.4% completion percentage last season. One of the easier wins of the season for Detroit. Lions 41 Titans 17
Jeff: I have Detroit splitting the season series with Green Bay. Oddly enough, both teams lose their home games. Lions 23 Packers 21
Adham: Why does Jeff do things like this? I also have these teams splitting, except both win their home games (as they should). Lions 27 Packers 23
Jeff: Many will see this as a potential Super Bowl matchup, unfortunately for Detroit, I have them losing to C.J. Stroud and company in Houston. Texans 31 Lions 23
Adham: Making this call this far away is difficult. If Detroit have a Top 12-15 Defense going into Houston, give me the Lions. I don’t know that yet, so I’m taking the better Quarterback here in a shootout. Texans 37 Lions 30
Jeff: Jacksonville look like one of the easier games on the schedule, especially with how they played last year. What’s Trevor Lawrence going to look like? Who knows. Lions 28 Jaguars 20
Adham: If you asked me 12 months ago about this potential matchup, would’ve said it would be pretty close. Detroit are built to roll teams like this, sorry Jacksonville. Lions 34 Jaguars 23
Jeff: Tricky game written all of this meeting. Detroit pull it off, but it comes with a few heart attacks. Lions 28 Colts 27
Adham: The Colts overachieved last season without their rookie Quarterback and a healthy Jonathan Taylor. I’m not living in the past, Detroit clear Indianapolis across the board. Lions 34 Colts 23
Jeff: Happy Thanksgiving Detroit, your Lions handle holiday business the right way. Beating Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears handily. Lions 27 Bears 16

Jeff: I don’t expect this to be the same Bills that have won every division title since Josh Allen started Quarterbacking them. Lions 27 Bills 23

Jeff: I love me some Caleb Williams. You knew I wasn’t going to have Detroit sweeping Chicago in his first go at it. Bears 27 Lions 23
Adham: Caleb Williams is going to be excellent. That Bears defense was Top 10 last season after they acquired Montez Sweat. Give me the Bears to split the season series. Bears 23 Lions 21
Jeff: Detroit avenge that disastrous blown lead in the NFC Championship Game to San Francisco. Lions 28 49ers 27
Adham: I still lose sleep over blowing that 17-point lead in San Francisco. Hell, not kicking a simple 45 Yard Field Goal keeps me up at night too. Lions lose, again. 49ers 30 Lions 23
Jeff: J.J. McCarthy does his best Eli Manning, throwing 4 interceptions to the Detroit secondary. Lions 27 Vikings 21
